Thank you every one for your help !! And now got my spring break working for good :)

About Me

My name is Raphaël Laizeau. I'm a 16 year old student in high school in France. I am American and French. I speak both English and French. I live in Paris, France. In High School, I'm in première ES with the (OIB) International Bacalaureat Option. I love to draw and I would like to work later on in life as a cartoonist or a film maker. I have art classes after school to prepare me to the level of art school students. I decided to become a volunteer in 2015 with the Habitat for Humanity team at the American Church in Paris (ACP) for the trip to Romania in April. My involvement with the church goes back to the year 2013 when I first met Youth Group members who introduced me to Dan Haugh the Youth and Young adults Pastor. After that, I joined the Youth Group and since I have participated in many church activities such as our trip to Brussels for the organization Serve the City during a week in summer 2014. With the trip for Habitat, I expect to learn about house building and how to help families in need. I hope that during our time there we will be able to really make a difference in people's lives and reduce the inequalities of our world.

More Info

Our Team is a diverse and dynamic group of people from The American Church in Paris from multiple nationalities, countries and cultures.

The participants are members of youth ministry, young adult ministry and the congregation desiring to give their time and talent to help provide a home and to give hope for people in Romania.

The H4H communtiy at our Church which is open to everybody who wants to join and help others in need, has a very long history of trips to mainly Eastern but also sometimes southern Europe. We're glad even in times where money is short to have the opportunity to go abroad and to help others. But also to have the chance to participate in such a great mission. God bless all people!

About Habitat for Humanity International

Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in nearly 1,400 communities throughout the U.S. and in nearly 70 countries. Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more, visit habitatemea.org
