Dear Friends,

I am personally but also the Entire Team is very Thankful for all the donors for this great cause. We are managing to cover most of the costs with your generous help.

We had donations through the Team webpage and our personal ones and it's just astonishing to see how many peoples helped us.

We thank you all for your great support and wish you all the best!

Sincerely yours Kaï-Marcel Grunert and the Habitat for Humanity Team of the American Church in Paris.

About Me

My name is Kaï-Marcel, I'm 23 years old. I'm a student, majoring in International Marketing in German and French. My program requires that I study the first 2 years in Germany and the 3 year in France to receive a double diploma at the end of the 3 year. At the same time, I am working in Paris for both a marketing and consulting company. I have been part of the Habitat Team at the American Church in Paris since 2011, always working behind the scenes to help the team fundraise, up until August 2012, when I finally got the chance to go on a mission trip to Poland. I had a great time, connecting with people, working in a team and volunteering in order to transform and renovate an old school into a shelter for homeless people. In 2013 I kept working behind the scenes and helped organize many other fundraisers. Then, in 2014, I went with the ACP H4H Team to Hungary, where we renovated a house for a family. During that very summer, we also went to Bulgaria to build the foundation of a house for yet another family in need. All these experiences have given me a chance to work on-site with people of other nationalities, as well as the opportunity to discover and get to know other countries, their cultures and different ways of living; we helped one another and worked hand in hand. After my third trip with the ACP Habitat Team, I was trained to be a Team Leader for future trips and accepted the position with all of its responsibilities with gracious honor and a thankful heart.

More Info

Our Team is a diverse and dynamic group of people from The American Church in Paris from multiple nationalities, countries and cultures.

The participants are members of youth ministry, young adult ministry and the congregation desiring to give their time and talent to help provide a home and to give hope for people in Romania.

The H4H communtiy at our Church which is open to everybody who wants to join and help others in need, has a very long history of trips to mainly Eastern but also sometimes southern Europe. We're glad even in times where money is short to have the opportunity to go abroad and to help others. But also to have the chance to participate in such a great mission. God bless all people!

About EMEA Global Village

About Habitat for Humanity International

Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in nearly 1,400 communities throughout the U.S. and in nearly 70 countries. Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more, visit habitatemea.org
