About Me

As some of you may know, back in 2014 I traveled to Nepal for the Carter Build and helped build a small community of houses in the Chitwan area.  In October I will head back with a wonderful team of dedicated and compassionate friends to help the people of Nepal in Kavre rebuild after the devastating earthquakes of 2015.  I fell in love with this country and it's people and am very excited about being blessed with the opportunity to go back again and be able to help these people.

I welcome and deeply appreciate any and all tax-deductible donations and know that these donations will be put to great use.  Please know that the people of Nepal are so very grateful for anything we can do to help them rebuild and have a safe home.

Thank you all!

More Info

In the wake of the earthquakes in Nepal, we need to work together more than ever to provide pathways to permanence for the families affected. My Global Village team is one of six traveling to Nepal in the fall to build safe and strong homes with Habitat for Humanity.

We invite you to join our team in partnering with disaster-affected families as they begin their recovery of their lives and livelihoods in their communities. Your donation will help Habitat build more permanent homes sooner.

Habitat’s Disaster Work in Nepal

Habitat for Humanity plans to help 20,000 families in cooperation with the government of Nepal and humanitarian agency partners. With the help of partners and volunteers, Habitat will remove rubble, distribute emergency shelter kits, and build transitional and permanent shelters.

Global Village is Habitat for Humanity’s international volunteer program. Teams travel to over 40 countries to work alongside communities, build housing solutions, and experience local culture. Our goal is to change the lives of the people we serve, as well as the lives of the volunteers.

About Habitat for Humanity International

Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity has grown from a grassroots effort that began on a community farm in southern Georgia in 1976 to a global nonprofit housing organization in nearly 1,400 communities across the U.S. and in over 70 countries. People partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more, visit
