It is really hard to admit that there are so many countries that do not have simple things for living. Challenges like limitation of water and sewage from the long time became as everyday routine tasks.
Seeking relief from poverty, many families have to move to informal settlements in other large cities just to survive living several people in one small room. We would think that with new technologies is not even possible. But, unfortunately, it's true. So what can you do to help ?

About Me

Hello, everyone. My name is Deanna. I started my research work while perusing double BS in Chemistry and Biological and Physical sciences at University of Houston and now continuing my PhD at University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France. Passionate for medicine, as it runs through my family, I am hoping to contribute to cancer research. I have been participated in many scientific research conferences for STEM professions where I presented my work as an undegraduate . The ability to take care of people holistically is a main reason for me why I chose to support that great cause. I have never regretted my decision about giving my time others in need. I have been volunteering for many years at Texas Children Hospital and other community organizations. And it's such a joy to be able to do something for others, even small things, that can bring smile on their faces. I always have an interest in global interactions, and would love to use my chance to better understand how all countries around the world can work together for the same great cause. Because of this, I strongly identify myself with that mission and I am thrilled to be a part of this inspiring mission. I am looking forward to many more. Let's give each other hand!

More Info

Our Team is a diverse and dynamic group of people from The American Church in Paris from multiple nationalities, countries and cultures.

The participants are members of youth ministry, young adult ministry and the congregation desiring to give their time and talent to help provide a home and to give hope for people in Kyrgysztan.

The H4H communtiy at our Church which is open to everybody who wants to join and help others in need, has a very long history of trips to mainly Eastern but also sometimes southern Europe. We're glad even in times where money is short to have the opportunity to go abroad and to help others. But also to have the chance to participate in such a great mission. God bless all people!

About EMEA Global Village

Global Village is Habitat for Humanity’s international volunteer program. Teams travel to over 40 countries to work alongside communities, build housing solutions, and experience local culture. Our goal is to change the lives of the people we serve, as well as the lives of the volunteers. To join a team or learn more, visit http://www.habitat.org/eurasia/get_involved/global_village.

About Habitat for Humanity International

Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in nearly 1,400 communities throughout the U.S. and in nearly 70 countries. Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more, visit habitatemea.org
